The old family home of the mystic poet Hason Raja in Zindabazar, now a small museum of his belongings, folk instruments and family history.

About

Dewan Hason Raja (1854–1922) was a zamindar and mystic poet whose songs are still sung across Bangladesh. His family's old tin-roofed home in Zindabazar, Raja-Kunjo, opened as a museum on 30 June 2006, run by a family trust.

It is small, just two main rooms. The main hall has showcases of things that belonged to Hason Raja and his family, folk instruments, and items from the film about him. The second room has family furniture, and books on the poet Dewan Eklimur Raja.

Hours and fees are not published online, so check before making a special trip.
