The city's home for theatre since 2004: a 250-seat hall on K. C. Dey Road for plays, dance, music and film festivals.

About

Theatre Institute Chattagram opened in October 2004, near the Central Shaheed Minar, and belongs to the Chittagong City Corporation. It was the first venue of its kind in the city.

Its main hall seats about 250, and the building also has a seminar hall and an exhibition space. Local groups stage plays here, usually at 7 pm, alongside dance, music and film festivals. World Theatre Day is marked every 27 March.

Groups announce their own shows, so follow them for dates and tickets.
