A zoo by Foy's Lake with about 520 animals: white tigers born here, lions, hippos, zebras and kangaroos, for ৳70.
Chattogram Zoo opened on 28 February 1989 beside Foy's Lake in Khulshi, and has since grown to 10.2 acres.
Around 520 animals live here, among them Bengal tigers, lions, crocodiles, kangaroos, zebras and hippos. The stars are the white tigers: the first one born in Bangladesh arrived here in 2018.
It gets very crowded at Eid, so come on an ordinary day if you can. Foy's Lake is right next door for the rest of the outing.
