A large old tank in the middle of Cumilla, dug to help people through a famine — now the city's favourite evening walk.

About

Dharmasagar was dug on the orders of a king named Dharma, to give work and water to people suffering from a severe famine, and is named after him. A signboard at the entrance tells its story.

Today it is the green heart of the city. People walk the banks at dusk, take boats out on the water, and enjoy the view from the park on the northern side.
