The auditorium of the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh, the national body of agriculturists, sits in the KIB complex at Farmgate. It seats 1,050 across two floors, 800 of them downstairs, with its own sound and lighting rigs and central air conditioning.
That size makes it the city's go-to room for concerts that need seats rather than a field: solo evenings by artists such as Bappa Mazumder, and afternoon-into-night band line-ups like Loud City Takeover. Popular shows fill it, and the car park with it.
The hall is hired out by the KIB complex, so each show is run and ticketed by its own organiser.
